Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. in 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk 5 May 1998. Her career has seen her win twelve WTA singles championships, which includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Her doubles game is excellent, and she won Majors in both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were together with Elise Mertens. In 2019, she took home both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed her Sunshine Double. Four women's teams were able to achieve this achievement. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she was ranked second on the list of world singles rankings her best ranking reached again in the month of January in 2023. When she played doubles, she managed to push herself to the top of the list during February of that same year after the victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season ended in 2019, and also for a short time before the year 2020 began. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August through September 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her heroes.
