Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. in 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk 5 May 1998. Her career has seen her win twelve WTA singles championships, which includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Her doubles game is excellent, and she won Majors in both the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were together with Elise Mertens. In 2019, she took home both the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed her Sunshine Double. Four women's teams were able to achieve this achievement. Since the end of 2020 she's been trained by her coach, Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her heroes.
