ndrea Lee, who is a rising star on the LPGA Tour, is highlighted by her debut victory at the Portland Classic of 2022. Lee has had success at all levels. She has won nine times at Standford University during her collegiate tenure and spent seventeen weeks in the top spot of the world's Women's Amateur. In the wake of winning the Mark H. McCormack Award for the highest ranked women's amateur in the world after the end of the season in 2019, Lee made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee was born on 15 August 1998 in Los Angeles. James started teaching her daughter golf as early as age five. She began competing in tournaments aged 8 and has won over 50 junior titles in 4 years. Her first year she was a top-10 player with two finishings. She placed 7th at the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was the first woman to win an LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. The winner dedicated it to her great-grandfather Min who passed away in 2012. He was always calling me a winner and believed that I could win. She stated, "I was so grateful for him. It's a good thing that he's looking over me." Previous competitions she participated in included tennis, soccer, and figure skating. Lee's other interests besides golf are movies, shopping and even singing. Also, she loves snowboarding.
